Austria – October 2026 — Tribe 13 is proud to announce Boot Camp 003 – The Sword and Cross, a seven-day immersive training event taking place from October 5 to 11, 2026, in Austria. This latest installment in the Tribe 13 Boot Camp series is designed to prepare participants for real-world challenges in survival, defense, and tactical readiness.
Building on the success of previous programs, Boot Camp 003 introduces a deeper integration of operational capability and ethical–spiritual development, reflecting the dual concept of the “Sword and Cross.”
A Comprehensive Tactical Training Experience
The Tribe 13 Boot Camp series is known for its high-intensity, scenario-based approach. Participants are immersed in demanding environments that simulate real-life conditions, fostering adaptability, resilience, and decision-making under pressure.

- Tactical trauma care (STOP THE BLEED® certified)
- Escape and evasion techniques

Leadership and Instruction
The Boot Camp is led by Matei Florin “Griffin”, founder of Tribe 13 and creator of the Tactical Combat System (TCS).
With 9 years of experience in a police tactical unit, specializing in close quarter battle, high-risk arrests, and dignitary protection, and 4 years as a Private Military Contractor in high-risk regions such as Somalia, Nigeria, the Gulf of Aden, and Yemen, Matei brings extensive operational expertise to the program.
In addition to his tactical background, he is an ordained minister and ministry chaplain, providing a unique dimension to the training through spiritual guidance, ethical leadership, and the development of the “warrior–protector” mindset.
Continuing the Tribe 13 Mission
Following Boot Camp 001 – Awake the Protector and Boot Camp 002 – Urban Environment, this third edition represents an evolution in both scope and depth. Participants can expect a rigorous and structured progression that integrates technical proficiency with mental and moral development.
