The Priory of Sion today, is an initiatory Order which in addition to its original knowledge and traditions, has gained more recent influences from other esoteric traditions and obediences.
The members of the Priory are a mixed representation of society, where there is no distinction of social class, religion, race or gender.
The link between the members is based on an ideological and spiritual communion that allows sharing an harmonious collective growth in a spiritual path.
Not a club born for the sole purpose of promoting and fasten economic and private interest though this is not prohibited by its statute, but a place to live spirituality dimension that complements, expands and develops the individual in a collective context where to belong in a communion with the other Brothers and Sisters, which amplifies the effectiveness of a personal soul searching through the exchange and the comparison with the other members and the initiatory path.
The Priory of Sion is very discreet and reserved but is not a secret society; this is an association duly registered and regulated by the law; each member is duly registered and entered in the register of the Order without any exception.
Today the Priory of Sion is perpetuated through three principal lineages, all three are of international character, but located in different parts of Europe which are France, Spain and Italy.
Of these three Orders, only one, in addition of being an initiatic Order is also an association legally registered, and is the Prieuré Sion - Ordre de la Rose-Croix Véritas O.D.L.R.C.V. , Which has as its General Secretary and Grand Master, Marco Rigamonti.
Prieuré de Sion - Ordre de la Rose-Croix Véritas O.D.L.R.C.V. is registered in Italy, with several Operative structures, in Italy, in France, in Monaco (Monte-Carlo), in England, Holland, Spain, Belgium and in some of the Unites States of America.
Prieuré de Sion – Ordre de la Rose-Croix Véritas O.D.L.R.C.V. recognizes as its only initiatory authority of reference, its legitimate source of initiatiory deposit, and Grand Patriarch, Gino Sandri.
